What if we started with a “To Be” list instead of a “To Do” list? Why? Our “To Be’s” will help us prioritize our “To Do’s”. You cannot check “To Be’s” off your list like you can with “To Do’s”. Being a good parent or a good person is not an event; it needs “To Be” a part of my nature or character, or who I am.
We must form a clear and definite mental image of the things we want to become (“To Be”). It is required that that we hold this image in our thoughts while being grateful to God that our desires are granted to us.
